This section describes how to connect to Goldsand using a Ledger Wallet for the first time. This tutorial uses Ledger Live. It's also possible to use a software wallet, e.g., Metamak, to conenct a Ledger wallet to the Goldsand staking app.

  1. Open Ledger Live and connect your Ledger

  2. Open the , click Stake, and click Continue using a Wallet. From the list, choose WalletConnect

  3. The WalletConnect menu will open, click on the Ledger Live icon below the QR code

  1. The Goldsand app will request to connect to Ledger Live. Approve the connection request. You will be transferred to the Ledger Live app. In Ledger Live check the checkbox for Ethereum and click Connect. Note: Don't worry about the "Cannot Verify" warning as long as the shown link is "inshallah.fi" or "goldsand.fi"

  2. When you arrive at this screen, the Goldsand Staking application is connected to your Ledger Live. Close the "Go Back to Your Browser to Continue" message.

  3. The staking app will create a signature request to confirm account ownership. Click Continue to sign the message using the Ledger Wallet

  4. After Signing the message, you can use the staking app by defining the amount of ETH to stake and approve the transaction using the Ledger Wallet (make sure you are using the Ethereum app on Ledger)
