What is iAUSD

iAUSD is a yield-bearing stablecoin minted through a zero-riba lending protocol. iASOL holders deposit their iASOL as collateral and mint iAUSD without incurring minting fees or interest.

The minted iAUSD receives a share of the staking yield generated by the underlying staking operation

iAUSD serves two primary goals:

1. Stable Value with Halal Yield: iAUSD is pegged to 1 USD and earns a portion of the staking yield, making it an appealing investment for low-risk investors seeking halal returns without exposure to crypto volatility.

2. Enhanced Liquidity: iAUSD can be easily swapped for USDC or other crypto assets like SOL, allowing users to cover daily expenses without selling their holdings or to engage in leveraged trading without paying interest (riba).
