iA Borrow: Zero-Riba borrowing
iA Borrow (inshAllah Borrow), is the first halal lending protocol. iA Borrow introduced a new DeFi primitive. Its primary distinction lies in its Shariah-compliant structure: it charges no fees to mint/burn iAUSD and imposes no interest for holding it
In the initial implementation, iA Borrow's accepted collateral is iASOL, InshAllah's Solana staking LST. The protocol's native collateral, iASOL, is generated by staking SOL in the Goldsand protocol. SOL and other Solana LSTs can be seamlessly converted to iASOL via Sanctum protocol.
In iA Borrow, users borrow InshAllah's stablecoin iAUSD. The minted iAUSD receives a portion of the iASOL staking yield. Users who retain their iAUSD continue to earn the full staking yield. When users swap their iAUSD for SOL, USDC, or any other asset. The iAUSD's share of the yield becomes the property of the new iAUSD owner from the moment of the exchange.
